This upper assembly is absolutely fantastic! I mounted it on a GPI billet lower, used the CBC Nitride BCG, a BCM Mod 4 charging handle, and topped it off with a P223 scope. Shot it today and after sighting it on my last group was .78 MOA. This was using a 55gr load that I worked up for a completely different rifle. I can’t wait to work up a load for this beast with a heavier bullet and put it to test. Also had 3 people at the range ask about it because it looks so nice. Highly recommend!

First something needs too be said about customer service. These guys and gals are on point. Fast shipping and very quick to respond to questions or concerns. Now on too the upper. This is a very good upper at a good price point but not without its issues. I matched this upper to a ST lower, rifle buffer system with PRS stock, SD3g trigger and API NBIX bolt carrier group. Finish and fit where good but did have a couple of small blemishes on the CBC rail. No big deal and not really noticeable. Small deviation in Rail and upper but does not affect function. I did have to re pin the gas tube and gas block as I was venting a little more gas than I would like from the pin that was installed. Upper was shipped bone dry. I mean DRY. Small bit of cleaning cloth was left in the barrel as well but…hey ..they cleaned it. Chalk that up as a win. The barrel punched out well and runs SUB MOA with 72gr HPBT all day every day. Overall I’ve been very pleased with the quality of this product and more than impressed with the service. If your looking for an upper for your next DMR build you should really consider this one. Nothing else I’ve found any better anywhere near this price point.

This not only looks awesome but it preforms outstanding.. 5 rounds groups at 100 yards that I can cover with a penny .. definitely will and already have recommend cbc industries to my friends that shoot .. keep up the good work

(Please forgive the spelling mistakes) Bought just this barrel from this fine company put it in an aero precision upper with a SRC reliabolt and carrier and a breek industry 17 inch free float forend. Have to say first off it shoots amazing. 1 inch groups at 300 yards all day once I worked up some 55grain Nosler Varmageddon loads. (And this is where it lost a star on the review.) However if you plan on shooting cheap tula or wolf ammo be wary this barrel has a very short throat (distance between the front edge of the casing and where the rifling starts.) The tula and wolf ammo ogive will engage the rifling upon chambering the round Which causes extremely high pressure and potentialy catastrophic falure. Also if you decide not to fire the round once chambered its nearly imposible to open the bolt because the bullet is stuck in the rifling. But with that being said my intention is not to complain about the barrel at all. I’m primarily shooting hand loads through it and with normal ogive of all except for tula and wolf ammo it works outstanding. Just please be careful if you do plan on shooting the tula and wolf. If this review keeps one person from having a catastrophic failure then it’s worth it.
