Description
This AR15 upper receiver assembly comes ready to attach to any Mil-Spec lower receiver. It is built around a 16 inch, 4150 chrome moly barrel and has a black nitride finish. The upper receiver is a forged M4 flat top upper, allowing you to easily attach rifle scopes and red dot sights to the picatinny rail.
Outfitted with a 12″ Keymod Rail that features strong attachment points for accessories resulting in accessories and optics having an excellent return to zero capability when detached and reattached. The rail also features a full-length picatinny top rail that sits flush with the upper receiver and has anti-rotation tabs to keep it locked in place. This upper assembly comes with a standard A2 flash hider that effectively suppresses muzzle flash and protects the 1/2×28 barrel threads if you are planning on adding a muzzle break in the future.

I have this upper on a aero precision lower I built . Fit and finish is absolutely perfect with little to no play . 1moa or less at 100 yards . Have over 700 rounds with this upper and have experienced no issues. 100% recomend. Great company

I wanted to wait until I had some range time to write this review. Once I had this upper in hand upon inspection, I did notice 1 small blemish on the rail. The rest of the upper was very nicely assembled and clean. Gas assembly was sturdy. The dust cover however looked like it’s finish is defective. Looks egg shelled. The upper fitted snug with my KE lower and my SAA nickel boron bcg fit without a hitch. At the range, I broke the barrel in using approx 100 rounds. The first 5 were factory and the rest were reloaded 62grain fmj. The first 5 factory rounds chambered and fired correctly. Had 4 or 5 rounds get stuck with the reloads during the first 15 rounds. Everything fired no problems after that. So far, for the price, very nice budget upper.
Now the bad. CBC does not notify of progress with the build status. Even when I called, had no real real faith in the progress stated. I received my upper and a hour after that had a tracking number finally sent to my email. I could have been out of town and never knew the upper was sitting on my porch. That is unacceptable. I believe the only reason I had a tracking number sent, was my son called to cancel his order if he didn’t get his tracking number by close of business. Our orders were somewhat tied as we have same shipping address. This is why I only gave 4 stars. If CBC gets their customer contact operation in order, I’d have no problems ordering again, I like the product they built me.

good upper if you are looking for something on a budget that can still get the job done. some slight cosmetic blemishes (which i dont really care about) but other than that nothing major was wrong with the upper.

Searched the net for an complete upper and kept coming back to this one. Glad I purchased it. Ordered on a Sunday night and got it on Friday! Fit great on my Aero lower. Shoots great! When I build another AR I will purchase another one from here.

I was hesitant to purchase this at first due to some of the negative reviews online. Most the online reviews claimed poor customer service and long delays in shipping times. These reviews could not have been more wrong in regards to my experience. I ordered this upper on Monday and I received it on Thursday. Not only that, I also sent an email asking a question about shipping times and I had a response the next day. Now for the upper itself, it without a doubt passes the visual test. The finish looks great and I did not see any blemishes. It fit perfectly with a PSA lower, and while I have not made it to the range yet, so far I am incredibly happy with my CBC experience. I have already recommended to numerous friends and I will definitely buy from them again in the future. Plus if you need one more reason to buy from here, the entire company is run by veterans and the guns themselves are assembled by veterans. Would rate it 6 stars if I could.
