This barrel chambered in .223 Wylde for compatibility with both surplus MIL-SPEC and commercial .223 Remington ammunition. This construction is of 4140 chrome moly steel and finished in nitride for excellent surface protection. The 1:8 twist rate is great for stabilizing most bullet weights from 55 grains up to 77 grains and the rifle-length gas system is optimal for reliability and reduced recoil.
