The CBC 224 rifle is the perfect long-range rifle based on the original AR-15 platform, chambered in .223 Wylde with a 24-inch, spiral cut bull barrel, 1:8 twist, button-rifled barrel. The 24-inch bull barrel allows you to consistently stay on target down range.
The benefit of .223 Wylde is the ability to use to nearly any grain of 5.56 NATO or .223 REM ammunition, from 36gr to 100gr, with no noticeable difference in performance. The CBC 224 comes standard with the CBC 15-inch competition M-LOK rail, which offers incredible weight savings as well as superior cooling, ergonomics, and modularity while maintaining the strength and durability expected from CBC.
The competition rail and M-LOK attachment system ensure plenty of real estate for optics and accessories while also offering the perfect ergonomic grip for accurate shooting. The lower receiver is hard coat anodized, forged, 7075 T6 aluminum built to standard MIL-SPEC. Attached to the lower receiver is our Enhanced Ergonomic Pistol Grip along with a phosphate coated 8620 Precision Trigger, providing a comfortable grip and crisp, reliable trigger squeeze on every shot.
The rifle length gas system allows for shorter split times, more precise follow-up shots, and reduced fatigue. This rifle also comes with the CBC Tactical EX Performance Adjustable Buttstock and Enhanced Ergonomic Pistol Grip.
