Description
This AR15 upper receiver assembly comes ready to attach to any Mil-Spec lower receiver. It is?built around a 16 inch, stainless steel bear claw barrel that is chambered in .223 WYLDE.? This versatile?chambering provides the capability of shooting .223 Rem or 5.56 NATO cartridges. The upper receiver is a forged M4 flat top upper, allowing you to easily attach rifle scopes and red dot sights to the picatinny rail.
Outfitted with a 12?? Keymod?Rail that features strong attachment points for accessories resulting in accessories and optics having an excellent return to zero capability when detached and reattached. The rail also features a full-length picatinny top rail that sits flush with the upper receiver and has anti-rotation tabs to keep it locked in place. This upper assembly comes with a standard A2 flash hider that effectively suppresses muzzle flash and protects the 1/2?28 barrel threads if you are planning on adding a muzzle break in the future.

Excellent craftsmanship. Nice melonite finish. The bear claws look beautiful, and it did cool down quickly. Shot my first 88 rounds of cheap brass .556, no jams, no failures to feed, no nothing, with a WMD BCG with a light spray of WD40. I had my new magpul rear sight on backwards so I couldn’t quite say but it did seem accurate at 300 feet, no fliers. The front bottom RIS rail is a bit too forward for a foregrip, but it’s handy it comes with those anyhow. I’ll have to get a keymod RIS piece for that. It wobbles a little attached to my PSA lower, but who knows who’s to blame for that – Some shims should fix that up. Not much else to say cause I’m just a noob but yeah this upper is excellent, imo. And the company was awesome about keeping in contact, 2 day shipping, let me know when it was ready, shipped it immediately after that. They were promptly honest about not having the 1:9 twist in stock, so I got it in 1:8, even better. Took about two weeks for them to build it and ship it from when I ordered it; that’s agreeable imo.

Finally got a chance to take my new build out to the range and was very happy with this upper! I did have a few failure to feed issues and judging by the direction of the ejections I believe it may be undergassed slightly, though it could just as easily be the magazine. overall build quality and design is excellent. after sighting in it was consistently accurate. I am very happy with the upper and am confident the feed issue will be easily resolved. I will be purchasing more uppers in the future.
