The barrel is one of the few components that directly affect the accuracy and weight of your build. ?This barrel has a nitride finish for increased strength and durability. While featuring a special contour that is designed to be lighter than a conventual SOCOM barrel giving you that extra edge when shooting 3-gun competitions. This barrel offers a 1:8 twist rate, suitable for both heavy and light ammunition. ?It is corrosion resistant resulting in an extended barrel life that is longer than conventional chrome lining. Thus, being the perfect barrel for long distance shooting, competitions, hunting and practically any shooting application you?ll subject your AR15 too.
Constructed of 4150 chrome moly steel and finished in nitride for excellent surface protection. The 1:8 twist rate is great for stabilizing most bullet weights from 55 grains up to 77 grains and the carbine-length gas system is optimal for reliability and reduced recoil.

cleaned and installed went out to break in with first 500 rounds,group size was very good at 100 yards so far very happy with with it. time will tell if it will hold up. for the money i will be getting more, thanks cbc

Part of my A2 retro build with FDE Aero Precision enhanced upper/lower and a JP Rifles Competition muzzle brake to finish out at 16.1″ Using the Primary Arms 5×32 ACSS it shot a .71MOA using Fiocchi 50gr Extrema. Not too shabby. That’s why there’s a second one in the drawer already!
